Terms and Condition for Kamakhya Travels

1. Sightseeing Timings: All package sightseeing tours will be conducted exclusively between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
2. Weather & Unforeseen Delays: If a viewpoint or destination cannot be visited due to excessive rain, extreme heat, or any other natural causes, no alternative day will be scheduled or compensated for that specific location.
3. Third-Party Vehicle Requirements: On certain routes, transportation is strictly operated by the state government or tourism department. The agency's vehicles are not permitted in these areas. Examples include local taxis for Shillong Peak, jeep safaris, and elephant safaris.
4. Safety and Liability Disclaimer: Kamakhya Travels is not liable for tourist safety at specific high-risk locations. This includes potential wildlife encounters (e.g., tiger or rhino attacks) in Kaziranga National Park and Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary, river ferry rides on the Brahmaputra River, and travel through the mountainous terrains of Tawang and Meghalaya. Tourists are required to adhere to all safety guidelines, and the agency assumes no responsibility for any untoward incidents.
5. Natural Disasters: In the event of natural disasters, certain sightseeing spots may be temporarily closed or delayed. If no alternative route is available under such circumstances, the visit to that specific destination must be canceled.
6. Tourist Conduct: The agency will not be held responsible for any property damage, financial loss, or legal disputes caused by tourists at hotels, public spaces, or any other venues.
7. Mandatory Identification: It is mandatory for every tourist to carry a valid, original identity card at all times during the trip.
8. Additional Security Arrangements: While we prioritize safety during our guided tours, tourists may request additional security measures, such as bouncers or police escorts, which will be arranged at an extra charge.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

• Within 24 hours of the trip: 0% refund.
• Between 24 to 48 hours of the trip: 30% refund.
• Between 2 to 7 days of the trip: 50% refund.
• Between 7 to 14 days of the trip: 70% refund of the balance.
